We all experience anxiety. We're familiar with a racing heart, worry about how things will turn out, and that urge to say no to things that make us uncomfortable. For some, those feelings of anxiety are overwhelming and get in the way of living life to the fullest. If you or a loved one can relate, you're in the right place for help. I am a New York City-based licensed clinical psychologist specializing in treating anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, and related challenges, including perfectionism, stress, sleep issues, and school or work problems. I have expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ExRP), as well as mindfulness and acceptance-based techniques. I work with children, teens, and adults, with a particular emphasis on young adults navigating developmental transitions and challenges. I bring warmth, genuineness, and a sense of humor to all facets of my work. Born and raised outside of Philadelphia, I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and my doctorate in clinical psychology from the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University. I was fortunate to start my career as a clinical psychologist at the Columbia University Clinic for Anxiety and Related Disorders (CUCARD) before transitioning to private practice.
