In my practice, I treat young adolescents (ages 16 and up), adults, college students, and adults dealing with a wide range of issues including, but not limited to, eating disorders, anxiety and depression, as well as relationship and identity issues. Therapy can be helpful as you navigate times of transition, change, or if you are 'stuck' or unable to achieve desired goals. Together, we will determine what is getting in the way of progress and then help you work through those things to become the best possible version of yourself. As a Stanford-trained psychologist, I believe that drawing from current research to deliver the most up-to-date therapeutic interventions is essential. Developing a trusting and effective working relationship is another key element of successful treatment. Once we have established this, we will understand, define, and work toward your treatment goals together. In order to address the issues that are affecting you, my belief is that understanding how early experiences may be impacting your current struggles is important. Once insight into origins of the present struggles has been developed, learning new skills to deal with your emotions is the next step. I would love to connect with you. Please reach out to schedule a free 10-15 minute initial consultation phone call to determine if we are good fit to work together.
