Introduction

Hello and welcome! I am Missy (she/her) of MSP and am happy you found your way to my site. Take a look around and let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to hearing from you. Please find me at www.msparttherapy.com which offers more information about my practice. • As a white, cis female, queer, able-bodied therapist, I am mindful of the impact my identity can have on the individuals I serve. I strive to provide support by acknowledging the influence of culture, approaching it with humility, and addressing social justice topics that may affect the care you receive. • As an educator and therapist, I am committed in my own antiracist journey, which includes participating in continuing education courses in seminars, exploring clinical topics in regular consultation with other therapists, utilizing personal therapy and through my own art making process. • I have been offering both talk and art therapy services since 2004 working with diverse communities in various settings including hospitals, residential facilities, elementary and middle schools, foster care and adoption services and other community based work, and private practice. I have worked with individuals of all ages including children, teenagers, adults and seniors providing individual, group, couples and family therapy. I have found that working with teens and young adults has been the most rewarding for me. I work with clients to address anxiety and depression as well as explore life transitions whether its moving to a new school, leaving for college, navigating employment shifts or other life events that clients them from living the life they want.
