Introduction

Healing and self-discovery take time, but you don’t have to weather the storm alone. I focus on helping individuals and couples gain insight about the root cause of their struggles to create lasting change. Some common goals I can help with include managing and understanding anxiety and depression symptoms, navigating familial and romantic relationships, identity and gender development, and working through life transitions with confidence. As a clinical psychologist, I utilize a blend of insight-oriented, mindfulness-based, and emotion-focused interventions from an attachment perspective. By gaining insight and fostering self-awareness, you can become more aware of the patterns contributing to your difficulties. We will start with an in-depth developmental history and then identify goals. I strive to create a warm, inviting space where laughter and humor can coexist with exploration and be a part of the healing and growth process. An essential part of successful therapy is finding the right therapist for you! If we decide we are not a good fit, I would be happy to try to provide a referral to another therapist in the community.
