Dr. Wheeler received a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan and her Doctorate in Social Work at Florida Atlantic University with research inquiry focusing on the social worker’s use of self and stages of development. Dr. Wheeler combines her passions for practice and life-long learning as a clinical instructor at Florida Atlantic University. She currently teaches in the Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work programs, as well as postgraduate supervision for MHC and MSW registered interns. Dr. Wheeler is licensed in Colorado, treating couples as an affiliate therapist at CBT Denver and previously taught in the online MSW program at Denver University.
