Dr. Nadir has been a social worker for 20 years and has served children, youth, and their families since 1997. She gravitated towards this field because there is such a need to help families grow spiritually, emotionally, socially, and mentally. Dr. Nadir is challenged to assist others who may not be operating at their highest/fullest potential as a result of complex trauma and obstacles that have hindered them. Dr. Nadir is humbled to help someone grow beyond what they thought they could ever imagine by using clinical skills to encourage mindset shifts and recognize areas of strengths despite experiences. Dr. Nadir specializes in trauma-based treatment and uses evidence-based treatment modalities to address client needs. Dr. Nadir is a licensed clinical social worker in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. She is a certified trauma specialist, certified as a motivational interviewer, and has a diversity and equity certification.
