I'm glad you're here! Welcome! I'm Dr. Rob England, Private Practice Owner, Therapist and Psycho-Educational Instructor here at Cleveland Family Therapy and Courageous Help Family Services. Student therapy intern, Leah Green, has recently been added to the practice as well, and she is available for therapy sessions with reduced fees. Rob and Leah both focus on Child Therapy/Play Therapy (Leah works with ages 4-15 and Rob works with ages 3-7); we enjoy working with Parents on parenting issues and teaching parenting skills (in therapy and in Parenting Classes); & engaged couples in Premarital Counseling. Dr. Rob also focuses on Anger Management issues (adult Anger Management therapy, basic Anger Assessments, & Anger Management Classes); we also enjoy working with Parents on parenting issues and teaching parenting skills (in therapy and in Parenting Classes, including Co-Parenting); & I love working with engaged couples in Premarital Counseling. Lastly, Dr. Rob offers basic Alcohol & Drug Assessments (Court-Accepted) and Alcohol & Drug Classes (Court-Accepted) on awareness and prevention, where I facilitate a non-judgmental safe space to help those willing to work on such issues. In any of the above, early intervention is best, but…it is never too late! Overall, our passion is to see individuals and families strengthened, to see chains broken, and to see love reinforced. We are Christ-followers. This permeates all areas of life including family. Rob believes that families are the backbone of the local church and of society as a whole. For clients who wish to incorporate the Bible and prayer into therapy sessions, we are happy to do so. While we hold to a Christian worldview, we are here to help clients of all beliefs. Dr. Rob offers multiple types of Court-Mandated Classes (and voluntary classes). These are group classes; however, private individual classes and customized classes are available as well (additional fees apply). Please go to CourageousHelp.com to sign up for classes via Courageous Help Family Services. Dr. Rob has a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, as well as a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am fully licensed by the State of Tennessee as a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (License #1758). As well, I am working on my certification in child therapy (Registered Play Therapist certification). I also have experience and training in Drug & Alcohol/Substance Use assessments and treatment. Lastly, I am currently certified as a Prepare/Enrich facilitator for pre-marriage/marriage therapy. Leah Green is a student intern currently pursuing a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy degree from Liberty University. She is passionate about seeing health pursued and wholeness restored through the power of connection within relationships with both God and others. Leah appreciates the honor of joining with clients as they navigate life's challenges. She has special interests in struggles related to adjusting to lifespan transitions, communication complications, coping with issues of divorce and its effect on children, and the process of grief and loss. Leah enjoys providing a safe environment for individuals, couples, and families to experience being more fully seen and more deeply known. Like Dr. Rob, Leah is also a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator. For Assessments, please text or call (423) 689-1800. For Therapy, please text or call (423) 689-1800.
