Hello! I’m Dr. Sahar Martinez; I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and doctor of psychology. I am so grateful for the opportunity to support you in your journey towards healing. I am a culturally centered, antiracist therapist and I am dedicated to providing a safe space for healing. For the last decade, I have had the honor to witness and guide individuals and couples as they navigate through transitional phases of life. My work has provided me the opportunity to experience working with clients as they move through family of origin dynamics, generational trauma, and issues related to gender, race, and culture. My clinical focus includes perinatal mental health, working with diverse populations, and attachment-focused, trauma-informed therapy. I am deeply passionate about guiding women in their reclamation of self in addition to the endless roles they often take on as partners, mothers, sisters, and friends. In addition to my clinical work, I am adjunct faculty at Chapman University, an international speaker, AAMFT Approved Clinical Supervisor, founder of The Process Wellness Collective, podcaster, and a mama of two.
