Dr. Thorn holds the following degrees: Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc, 2019), Doctor of Social Work (DSW, May 2024), Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS, 2009), and a Master of Social Work (MSW, 2002). She has worked in the mental health and addiction profession for more than 20 years and in a variety of settings.
