Dr. Tiffany M. Crayton deeply values creating a space that awakens one’s bravery. A space that is free of shame and helps clients discover their true authentic selves. Dr. Crayton invites you to show up as you are with your complexities. All the things that make you who you are. Dr. Crayton works from a non-pathological approach, which means we will look past the diagnosis and work on the root causes of issues creating stress and hopelessness in one’s life. Dr. Crayton believes most circumstances are solvable and survivable. Dr. Crayton is a strong advocate of connections and being present in the journey of her clients. She believes humor and authenticity are the elements to a strong relationship; these are tools that are paramount in developing a therapeutic relationship. Dr. Crayton earned a Ph.D., in Counseling Education and Supervision with a concentration in Trauma and Crisis from Walden University. She earned her M.Ed., in Guidance and Counseling from the University of Central Oklahoma. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the states of Virginia, Texas, and Oklahoma. She is also a National Certified Counselor and an approved LPC Supervisor. In addition to serving as a secondary counselor for over 16 years, she has worked with children, adolescents, couples and families on various life impacting issues as a mental health professional. Dr. Crayton specializes in working with those who have experienced trauma, intimate partner violence, sexual abuse, anxiety, depression, LGBTQ+ experiences and the value of self. Dr. Crayton is committed to being trauma informed and healing centered in her work and honors the trust a client places in her to guide them on their journey. Together we can explore ways to cope with the stressors of life past or present and help move towards a positive direction.
