Tôi là một chuyên gia tư vấn cá nhân và gia đình. Tôi có thể cung cấp dịch vụ bởi tiếng Việt. Welcome! I am glad you are taking step toward self-improvement and I look forward to meeting you. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist offering confidential telephone/video psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families. My practice is centered on the idea that behavioral change is possible and constant. With a combination of social support, personal agency and opportunities, people can flourish to their full potential. It would be my honor to be a part of your journey toward healing and growth. I practice from a narrative, solution-focused and social constructionist world view. As your therapist, I offer a safe space for you to reflect on your life stories and experiences while exploring preferred ways of being that are congruent with your personal and relational goals. I use a combination of Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, solution-focused and CBT models. As a Vietnamese American male from a low-income immigrant household, I understand the unique barriers and stigma of seeking professional help. I am committed to offering a respectful, accepting, and nurturing space for my clients to explore the potential for personal/relational growth. I received a BS in Psychology from the UC San Diego, a MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from San Diego State University, and a PhD in Psychology from Vrije Universiteit Brussel. I offer a free 15min consultation with all new clients to see if we are a good fit. Fees: Currently, I accept out-of-network/private pay, Lyra Health EAP, and sliding scale for those unable to afford full fees through Open Path Collective. I can also provide documentations for insurance re-imbursement for out-of-network pay. Please keep in mind that only some psychological issues are reimbursed, so please consult with your insurance carrier if you are eligible for out-of-network reimbursement. Currently I have limited availabilities on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. * If you are experiencing a medical/mental health emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital.
