Introduction

My name is Dyllan Coelho-Holm and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I was born and raised in Fresno CA where I earned my Bachelor or Arts in Psychology from Fresno State. I moved to SLO County in 2014 and earned my Masters of Science in Psychology in 2016 from Cal Poly. With thousands of hours of clinical experience, I have supported individuals and families as they heal from trauma, depression, anxiety, impulse control and other presenting concerns. I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, Art Therapy Techniques, Mindfulness Techniques, Sand Tray, and Play Therapy. As a therapist, I am a BIG fan of talking. Together we will explore how we talk to others as well as how we talk to ourselves. We will highlight your inner voice and change the words that are not serving you. I love bringing in mindfulness and relaxation techniques into the sessions. I believe by grounding our bodies we can also ground and still our minds. We may practice brief guided meditation, mindfulness and other grounding exercises in sessions. I rely upon my faith for hope and guidance. Bringing God into our darkness helps us walk through trials. If you are comfortable we can use prayer and scripture to anchor and provide direction.
