Welcome! I’m honored to walk alongside you in your journey toward healing and growth. My name is Ed Middleton, Jr., and I’m committed to creating a safe, nurturing space where you can speak freely and find real help. I believe that everyone has intrinsic value and worth, and no matter your background or circumstances, you are welcome here. With a Master of Arts in Community Counseling and a Master of Divinity in Practical Theology with an emphasis in Transformational Leadership Coaching from Regent University (2004), I've been a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Louisiana since 2007. Over the years, I’ve worked in diverse settings, including private practice, churches, schools, and community organizations. My passion lies in working with adolescents, young adults, and adults facing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relational challenges, and adjustment disorders. I believe in the transformative power of relationships and am dedicated to helping you uncover and address the deeper issues impacting your life. As your counselor, I will work with you to explore the challenges you face, set meaningful goals, and develop strategies that help you grow holistically. Together, we will use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Reality Theory, and Mindfulness techniques to explore thought patterns and behaviors, helping you find healthier ways to meet your needs and navigate life’s challenges. Outside the counseling room, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, rock climbing, volunteering with my church’s youth program, and immersing myself in mission work in Central and South America.
