This is what Complex PTSD can feel like when it goes untreated. I work with individuals who have grown up in an environment that has left them feeling invalidated or dismissed, and who want to learn to love and accept themselves for who they are. We identify and process earlier memories to help us to see the connections between past and present triggers. We keep what is useful from past memories and let go of the rest.
