Elise Chapline, DSW, LCSW, LSCSW Dr. Elise Chapline is a licensed clinical social in private practice who works with adults 18+ in individual and couples therapy. Elise uses a strengths-based, solution-focused approach to help clients work through issues such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationships, and challenges in work or education settings. Prior to beginning her private practice, Elise worked in a variety of settings including K-8 public and private education, special education, hospital, university counseling center, and senior living/long-term care communities. Her main areas of expertise are in working with young adults aged 18 - 24, adults aged 60+, individuals with developmental disabilities, LGBTQIA+, and individuals with attention and organizational deficits. A resident of the Kansas City area since 1985, Elise received a Master's degree in Education from University of Missouri - Kansas City, a Master's degree in Social Work from University of Kansas, and a Doctorate in Clinical Social Work Practice and Leadership from the University of Tennessee.
