Introduction

Hello and welcome! I am Elizabeth and my approach to psychotherapy is to create a safe, supportive, and accepting therapeutic relationship. You will find that my communication style is honest and open, while being respectful of your life experiences and background. I believe in people's innate desire to move towards the life that is best for them. However, sometimes life gives us challenges that can make it hard for us to feel fulfilled. When working with me, you will find that I will support you in moving towards your goals, learning new skills to manage life's challenges, and that I am genuinely interested learning in your story. With over a decade of experience in mental health, I have discovered the value of working from a Person-Centered perspective, which means I believe, honor and respect that you know what is best for you. To support you in telling your story and learning new skills to manage symptoms; I utilize approaches form various trauma informed therapeutic practices, including Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Somatic Therapy. I specialize in working with adults who have experienced trauma and struggle with depression, anxiety or psychosis. If you are an adult who is ready to process your trauma, learn to improve your coping and create a life that is fulfilling, please feel free to contact me via text, phone or email for a free 15-minute consultation to discover if I am the right therapist for you.
