Introduction

Hi! I'm Elizabeth. First and foremost, I would like to thank you--I so appreciate you taking the time to consider me in your search for a therapist. I acknowledge how challenging navigating our mental health system can be, and I strive to make the process easier however I can. With that in mind, please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns and I'd be happy to help. To briefly introduce myself, I am passionate about working with women and gender diverse folks, trauma survivors, and the LGBTQ+ & queer community. I am also passionate about working with individuals struggling with symptoms of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). That said, I have experience working with a wide range of mental health concerns, and I have found that it often appears to be the "person-to-person" connection that is the most significant factor in determining clients' noted successes in therapy. I believe in a person-centered approach when working with individuals. I focus on fostering a strong therapeutic alliance with my clients in order to best meet their specific needs. I feel strongly that client-centered, trauma-informed therapy can help facilitate emotional balance & wellbeing, as well as increase feelings of personal fulfillment and overall life satisfaction. If this sounds like it aligns with your needs for therapy, I welcome you to reach out so we can connect! Warmly, Elizabeth
