Introduction

First off, I'm so glad you are here and are seeking support! I am a licensed clinical social worker with a master's degree in social work from Columbia University. I have worked as a primary therapist, clinical supervisor, and clinical director in residential and intensive outpatient settings. During my time in these roles, I have helped individuals, couples, and families struggling with eating disorders, trauma, attachment, grief and loss, substance use, couple and family conflict, among other things. Because of my broad experience, I am able to meet a client where they are at different points along their therapeutic healing journey. I am certified in EMDR, DBT/CBT, grief and loss, and various family systems and couples models. I am known for my calming demeanor, which often helps people feel at ease, and my ability to build strong therapeutic connections. Most of all, I believe in working myself out of a job. It’s my purpose to help you build the tools and confidence you need to take on whatever challenges you are facing. But, while you feel you need guidance, I will be here to provide the support you need. For more information please go to: www.couragepsych.com
