While I only practice evidence-based treatments informed by the latest research, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Therapy is an art as much as a science, one that is meant to honor your unique story and your specific goals. I draw from psychodynamic, emdr, and internal family systems perspectives and encourage exploration of past experiences, family dynamics, belief systems, and lifestyle patterns to better understand present issues. Together we will identify the beliefs and patterns that keep you from experiencing your life in the healthiest, most fulfilling, and most meaningful way. I welcome the opportunity to work with my clients on whatever they bring into therapy, however, my areas of special focus include trauma, sexual abuse, childhood abuse, ADHD, LGBTQ+, grief, depression, and anxiety. I am able to bill many insurance companies. Otherwise sessions can be paid for through debit, credit or HSA card. I am considered an out of network provider for some insurance carriers and, if your insurance allows, I am happy to provide invoicing that can be submitted to insurance for reimbursement. It is your responsibility to ensure that your insurance plan reimburses you for out of network mental health care and allows for that care to be from clinician who has an LPC designation.
