Introduction

- Person-Centered - I follow the wisdom of my clients and support the goals they want to work towards. - Trauma-Informed - I believe healing happens through connection and that we are all in the process of healing. - Harm Reduction - I believe in doing what we can now in order to make possible what we want to do eventually. Baby steps are steps. - Contexts and systems - Examining our experiences in different contexts and systems of oppression provides a deeper appreciation and understanding of ourselves and others. - Relational - I believe in the healing power of relationships and that that tending to relationships takes practice and skill. - Neurodivergent affirming - I work to challenge ableism by trusting the perceptions and experiences of all types of nervous systems. - Fat liberation - I believe all bodies are good bodies. - Collaboration - I believe the best quality care happens when providers collaborate and work together with the client. I currently work with adolescents (12+ years old), adults, and couples. Accessibility note: The office is at the top of one flight of stairs with two supportive railings. A bathroom with room for assistive equipment is available. All seating in the therapy office has the capacity to hold at least 250 lbs and the main seating options have a 500 lb capacity. The parking lot is free for the first hour and contains several disability accessible parking spaces. Feedback about improving accessibility is welcome and encouraged.
