I have been working in the mental health field for 15 years in various levels of treatment. I was educated at Georgian Court University for both undergraduate in Psychology and graduate training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have obtained specialty training as a level 2 certified trauma treatment professional and work with complex issues related to trauma, including dissociative identity disorder. I take a client-centered approach to counseling & work to provide a safe, non-judgmental, & validating environment to build trust with my client’s & to foster our therapeutic relationship. I believe that life is a balance of acceptance & change & I work with my clients to explore areas of their lives causing them difficulty & to find balance between the processes of acceptance & the change necessary to foster improvements in one’s life. I can help the client explore the complexities of this balance & teach & provide the skills necessary to enact changes. Clients will leave our sessions feeling seen, heard, understood, and empowered. I also have a therapy dog in training in-office with me that will give you puppy snuggles and comfort if you desire!
