My name is Dr. Elyssa Cacali, and I am a licensed psychologist in California (PSY31467). I completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Irvine, and went on to earn my Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychologist at Pepperdine University. While there I focused my dissertation on researching effective bullying interventions as a social justice issue. I am still driven to find new and effective ways to combat bullying. I am passionate about working children, adolescents, young adults, and their families with a variety of mental health diagnoses. I completed my training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (“EMDR”) treatment in order to further my knowledge and skills in trauma treatment. I am committed to assisting clients and families in finding the right treatment for the client based on their diagnoses. I have worked with diverse populations and diagnoses, and am proud to advocate for my clients’ needs. I work to develop meaningful relationships with clients and their caregivers, while empowering clients in identifying their own strengths. Please contact me to schedule an appointment today!
