I am currently a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Student at Northwestern University. Counseling is a unique relationship between client and counselor, and throughout the course of counseling we can create and work towards goals, growth, and wellness. As your counselor, it is my goal to ensure that you have a safe space to bring any feelings and challenges that you might be experiencing. I strongly believe that the therapeutic experience is different for each client, and that your experiences and stories are unique to you. You are the expert in your own life, and as your counselor, I am here to help you learn about yourself. I am only accepting adult clients at this time. With this population I can talk with each client to create and achieve goals in a safe environment. Upon my graduation in June of 2023, I plan to become a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Iowa. Once becoming licensed, I would like to broaden my clientele and see adolescents and couples as well. I have previous experience working with substance use issues, victims of domestic violence, housing and the homeless, and those considering suicide or self-harm.
