Emily holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Central Florida and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the state of Florida. She has worked with clients addressing various mental health issues such as anxiety and depression. Her approach is holistic and recognizes that a person's environment affects each individual and family differently. Her goal is to promote well being by empowering her clients to evaluate challenges, identify personal strengths, and develop strategies for managing and overcoming life's stressors. She specializes in working with adults, adolescents/children (ages 6 and older) and families. Emily has been working with adult, adolescent and family clients for over a decade on increasing self-esteem, decreasing negative thought patterns, managing difficult family dynamics, increasing effective communication skills, and reducing behavioral issues.
