Hi, I’m Emily! I’m a middle Tennessee native, passionate about helping others. My background is in youth ministry and child care. I studied Social and Behavioral Sciences, Religious Studies, and Marriage and Family Therapy in undergrad and grad school. My practice has been focused on helping women and girls work through grief, anxiety, depression, adjustment to family changes such as divorce and loss, and many other struggles and challenges that life might be presenting. I work through an Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Greif Counseling lens and implement this knowledge in ways that are best for each individual client. My trainings and certificates include: Created for Connection: Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT) Group, Issues in Therapy: Personality Disorders, Prepare Enrich Couples Counseling Certified Facilitator, Columbia Suicide Severity Training, Social and Behavioral Research Certification. Struggling with mental health and life changes is rarely black and white. When we struggle with one mental health or situational life issue it’s common for many other emotional struggles to come along with that. I will work with you to find the best process for you in your healing journey.
