Therapy can be hard, but it makes it easier when you find a therapist that you fit with. At the core I believe in acceptance, authenticity, and alliance. This means that you are accepted right from the beginning (I have had many test me on this and I can proudly say I have never failed). Being authentic means I am who I am. I am not a formal person so my sessions are not formal. I will be real with you. And alliance, therapy is intimate and vulnerability is necessary. Our therapeutic alliance is formed on the basis of acceptance and authenticity–you are welcome no matter what and you are free to be you.
