Emily is a native of the state of Wisconsin, however she has called New Jersey home for almost two decades. With her undergraduate degree from UMDNJ in psychiatric rehabilitation and a masters degree in counseling with a focus on addictions from Monmouth University, Emily has been working in the field of mental health, addiction, sex therapy, psycho-education and case management for over 10years. With a primary focus on cognitive behavioral therapy along with solution focused treatment, Emily has gathered both professional, and educational approaches to diversify her therapeutic approach to meet the every changing demographic our world faces today. By using these personalized evidence based treatment approaches, Emily has garnered an ability to work with diverse populations with both complex and individualized needs. When she isn’t working, Emily enjoys watching the Green Bay Packers and spending time with her husband and two children
