Understanding why people suffer, how they change, and how to help them live more satisfying and gratifying lives is a fascinating, huge, and important undertaking. -Sommers-Flanagan & Sommers-Flanagan I was first drawn to becoming a therapist when I was still receiving my primary education. I can remember sitting and providing space for my friends to share their emotions and worries. To think, years later I would be blessed with the opportunity to turn that ability into a career. Within my time as a therapist, I’ve worked with people of all ages and backgrounds. I believe that all clients have the power to make changes in their life within them. As a therapist my job is to just come alongside the client to support in that change and transformation. Three words which describe my therapeutic style are: supportive, non-judging, and compassionate.
