Emily (she/her/hers) is an empathic therapist who uses her sensitivity to form a connection with clients and help them to access their emotional depths. Drawing on her training in Psychodynamic therapy, Emily can aid people in understanding how early experiences have shaped their unconscious and use this insight to break out of patterns that aren't serving them. Because she doesn’t believe in one size fits all therapy, Emily also utilizes tools from modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy, and Family Systems to best serve the unique individual. Emily has experience working with those challenged by symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma, and suicidal thoughts. She especially loves working with those who are looking to gain a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships, and their life's meaning. Emily brings warmth, humour and creativity into the therapy room, as well as a deep respect for the people she works with. Emily is supervised by Karen Malbon
