Introduction

On the road to self-realization and fulfillment, we often encounter hurdles and obstacles that sometimes make us feel like we have been knocked off course. In many instances, therapy can be an effective means to get us back on track. It is a way to develop a higher level of insight and understanding of ourselves and our place in the world around us. I believe that seeking therapy is the culmination of considerable contemplative and insightful work that has already taken place. I offer support and guidance in your exploration of your past and present, via a compassionate, collaborative and non-judgmental relationship, in order to help you reach a sense of awareness and empowerment. I specialize in working with clients through the treatment of trauma, depression, anxiety, and loss. I have experience working with children, adolescents, young professionals & seniors with chronic illness and use a wide array of modalities that promote a deeper understanding of how past experiences are linked to behavioral and emotional patterns. It is through this deeper insight of ourselves that we can begin to make healthier and more adaptive choices. I welcome clients from all backgrounds and lifestyles. However, as a first generation queer Latino, I offer a unique and personalized approach to treatment of the LGBTQI+ and Latino communities. I look forward to meeting you and helping you maneuver through life’s journey.
