Introduction

Are you struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression, or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)? Do you put a mask on to hide the pain? Are you living with the guilt or shame of a traumatic event that occurred in your life but you’re too ashamed or embarrassed to talk about it? Feeling misunderstood, angry, unable to control your thoughts? I have a passion for helping trauma survivors feel understood as they process their grief. We’ll work collaboratively to address your symptoms, you’ll learn new coping tools to help ease the feelings that arise from sharing your story. I specialize in helping veterans and first responders process the grief and trauma related to their careers using a Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (a TF-CBT) approach. With this theory our sessions will be direct, structured, with an engaged and goal-oriented approach. I look forward to teaching you tools to take your life back. I will never force you to talk about something you don’t want to talk about. You don’t need to feel ashamed of your feelings anymore. If and when you are ready to get help, please submit your request here on psychology for today, send me an e-mail or visit my website. I currently have immediate online availability M-Th 10-5 and 8-11, and F-S 10-5. I am currently accepting Aetna and Cigna insurance, along with private pay rates of $100 per session.
