Eric Thurmond is a Licensed Professional Counselor and native of Rabun County Georgia. He received his B.A. in Psychology from Piedmont College and his M.S. in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Brenau University. He maintains a physical office in Mountain City, GA but offers telehealth services as well. He has practiced as an outpatient therapist for over 15 years and works with child, teen, and adult populations alike. It is his goal to provide the highest quality counseling and behavioral health services to the people of Rabun County and the surrounding communities. Eric has served in community mental health and private group practices over the years, working under the supervision of some of GA's most recommended child psychiatrists and geriatric psychiatrists. Areas of clinical experience include: anxiety, depression, obsessive compulsive disorders, marriage counseling, family conflict, marriage/relationship problems, autism spectrum disorder, defiant teens/kids, self-injury, anger management and more. Personal Biography: Eric is a follower of Christ, a husband and father of 4 rambunctious kids. He enjoys family trips, playing the guitar, mountain biking, and serves on the music team at his local church.
