Ultimately, it is my intention to help clients build a better relationship with all parts of themselves including their bodies. A part of my work is to help you learn about what it is YOU need to be your most authentic self, and that includes understanding your boundaries, your patterns, and your blind spots. The process of "processing" has its challenges, and deserves patience and nonjudgment. Together, we will help you find what balance looks like for you, letting go of what you no longer need, and letting in what makes you more whole. I often work with clients whose focus is to heal their relationship with themselves and their bodies. This includes anxiety, eating disorders, trauma, sex and intimacy issues, and depression. Sessions may involve addressing the language in your narratives, using breath work and meditation, and integrating all your parts (not just the "good" ones). By using mindfulness as a home base in therapy, I hope to help clients integrate nonjudgmental awareness into daily life. Sure, we can be mindful by taking deep breaths, but a core principle of mindfulness is letting go and focusing on things that really matter. If you were able to do this more often, how would things be different?
