Sports were a significant part of Erica's life growing up. Growing up in a small town, she had the opportunity to play sports year-round. She believes these opportunities shaped who she has become today. When it comes to sports and the athletes who perform, the stigma of mental health still exists, and in some cases has intensified. Erica has received specialized training to assist her not only in advocating for individual athletes to care for their own mental health but also to pursue opportunities for systematic changes at the local level. By assisting communities, local schools, clubs and teams, Erica hopes to impact the next generation of athletes looking to perform at the next level.
