Introduction

Erica is a transplant from a much warmer climate, though her family has always had roots in Nebraska so she's no stranger to these parts! She moved to Lincoln from Atlanta in 2017 with a head full of dreams, a heart filled with hope, a dog filled with Dramamine, and a moving van that was just...full. Since then, she has worked with a myriad of clients from here clear out to Grand Island, and is thrilled to be launching her private practice! Erica graduated with her Masters in Social Work from Kennesaw State University in 2015, and has been working the field of mental health ever since. She is experienced in a range of modalities, including (TF-)CBT, DBT, MST, and others. While much of her work has centered around children, adolescents, and families, Erica has experience with clients representing many demographics. Her past clients have encompassed a variety of cultures, ethnicities, ages, sexual orientations, races, levels of mental and physical abilities, sexes, and walks of life. Erica's practice is fueled by her core belief that everyone deserves to move through life feeling happy, healthy, and safe. By nurturing her clients, it is her hope to see them grow and thrive at their full potential! Erica provides counseling services to address mental health areas including anxiety, depression, trauma, periods of transition/adjustment, ADHD, relationships/ couples, social skills, family dynamics, parenting skills, behavioral challenges, LGBTQIA+, grief, substance use, women's issues, self-image, mood disorders, and more. She also offers telehealth sessions as an option. Erica can't wait to meet you and help you get started on the path towards living your best life!
