As humans, I find that when we’re able to get quiet for a while, slow down, and start to feel safe, things begin to open up… Wounds that haven’t gotten to heal. Emotions and thoughts that we’ve needed to compartmentalize. Grief and difficult truths. And when we feel well supported to stay with this process for some time, at our own pace, other things begin to open up too… Sensations of release and relief. Emerging clarity and understanding. A more expansive sense of who we are, including our choices and voice. This is the kind of therapeutic space and process that I work to create. I bring a warm, attentive presence, conversational style, and deep listening. I especially tune in to the feelings, beliefs, and habits that have formed through interpersonal experiences—and that the interactive, relational nature of therapy can help heal or develop in new ways. I believe in the power of listening—especially to oneself. If you hear/feel something that resonates with you here, I welcome you to reach out to see if I might be a good fit for the support you need at this time in your life. www.fullpresencetherapy.com
