After receiving my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Occidental College, after spending summers working at a day camp for children with depression, anxiety, and ADHD, I began exploring career options within the field. My first job after graduation was working with adolescent girls on probation who had been mandated to residential treatment. Through this experience, I developed the desire to make more of an impact in the field, so I pursued my Master's Degree in Psychology. I have been a practicing therapist since 2006, and licensed since 2008. I have been fortunate to have experience in various treatment settings, including community mental health, residential treatment, outpatient group private practice, and individual private practice. I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), have been a leader on DBT teams, and currently provide informed DBT treatment, including DBT Skills Training. I am certified in Prolonged Exposure Therapy (a treatment for PTSD), and also have training in DBT-PE. I am trained in and offer Exposure and Response Prevention (a treatment for OCD). I work with a range of ages from 16 and up. I am passionate about providing therapies that help my clients remove barriers and assist them in achieving their goals.
