Introduction

Eugenia Tarzibachi is a bilingual psychotherapist (English/Spanish) with over 20 years of experience practicing in both Argentina and the United States. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #146183) and an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC #12142) working with children, pre-teens, and adults in San Francisco, the Peninsula, as well as online to California residents. She is also a Licensed Psychologist in Argentina (M.N. 35930). Eugenia is passionate about helping children and adults thrive. Her specialties include trauma, child therapy, women’s health (PMDD/PMS, menopause, menarche, perinatal complications, postpartum adjustment, etc.), acculturation, life transitions, and other more common clinical presentations such as depression and anxiety. She works from a strong background in Psychoanalysis, integrated with other evidence-based approaches: primarily EMDR Therapy, but also DBT skills, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Parts Work. She is also trained on PCIT (Parent Child Interaction Therapy). Eugenia tailors the treatment plans to the uniqueness of each client, meeting them where they are at every step of the therapeutic process. Outside of private practice, Eugenia is also a published author, in both English and Spanish of one book, several articles, and numerous research studies. She supports social justice working part-time as a mental health clinician for survivors of domestic violence in an agency setting called CORA. Advancing gender equality and sexual and reproductive health through lifespan and different socioeconomic statuses are causes close to her heart. She has devoted her career to promoting these critical issues via academic research and instruction as well as public policy. Eugenia holds a Master's in Clinical Psychology (USF, US), a Ph.D. in Social Sciences (UBA, Argentina), a Master's in Education (UdeSA, Argentina), and a Bachelor's in Psychology (UBA, Argentina). She has taken multiple trainings related to the field of mental health. In 2024, Eugenia won the Kristina Carey Scholarship from CAMFT Marin.
