I believe therapy can be transformative. At its core, therapy is a process of self-discovery and radical acceptance. Collaborations in therapy can help us lead fulfilling lives, make decisions we are proud of, and empower us to find our place in the world. I’m proud to live at the intersection of queer, transgender, Filipinx, and polyamorous experiences. As a student of social work developing an expertise in trauma-informed and person-centered care, I want to create a place for working on everyday stressors and longer-term goals. That work will compound into larger insights and more fulfilling ways of being. My intention is to facilitate a space for folks exploring concerns about anxiety, depression, bipolar, and other mood disturbances. I am excited to work with people of all gender experiences, gender expressions, and sexual orientations. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to offer new awareness about emotional health and functioning, and somatic and mindfulness perspectives to help folks get in touch with their own sensory information as we discuss their thoughts and concerns. Your story is yours to write, and I am looking forward to working with you on your next chapter.
