Introduction

I am a Turkish-American Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, working under the supervision of Scott Peters, Ph.D., LPC-S. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Southwest. With a warm, empathetic, and culturally sensitive approach, I am dedicated to creating a safe, judgment-free space where my clients feel seen, heard, and supported. My passion lies in helping adults, seniors, couples, and immigrants navigate the complexities of cultural integration, build self-awareness, strengthen self-esteem, and foster healthy, fulfilling relationships—with themselves and others. In a world that often prioritizes reactive care, I am deeply committed to the proactive prevention of mental health challenges, especially for future generations. I offer specialized support in maternal and paternal mental health, as well as parenting dynamics, communication, dating and relationships, sexuality, co-dependence, attachment styles, career burnout, anxiety, depression, anger, life transitions, and the impact of adverse childhood experiences and generational trauma. I take a trauma-informed, eclectic approach, drawing from a blend of evidence-based therapies—including psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and emotion-focused therapy. My goal is to guide each of my clients toward healing and personal growth within a nurturing, empowering environment. I look forward to chatting with you soon to see if we're a good fit. If not, no worries—I’m happy to refer you to other resources. What matters most to me is that you get the help you need, whether it’s with me or someone else. Remember, this is your healing and growth journey. You get to decide how it unfolds. _____________________________________________________ Currently, I am only accepting private/self pay. Not being restricted by insurance policies allows me to offer lower rates and longer sessions (60-120 minutes, rather than the traditional 45-50 minutes). Self-pay also allows me to protect your privacy by eliminating the need to share your information with third-party providers. HSA payments are also accepted if your provider approves (please call your provider to get confirmation). _____________________________________________________ Offering in-person at home office, virtual, and hybrid sessions. _____________________________________________________ FREE 15-MINUTE CONSULTATION AVAILABLE.
