Welcome to my therapy practice. I'm Felicia A. Caple, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with several years of experience supporting adolescents and adults through life’s challenges. My goal is to help you feel more grounded and empowered as you manage the stressors that life brings. I graduated from Stony Brook University in 2016 with my Masters degree, where I honed my skills in providing evidence based services and social work. Since then, I have spent over 5 years specializing in providing individual therapy services, focusing on areas such as stress management, anxiety reduction, motivation enhancement, self-esteem building, confidence development, and career exploration. I believe in creating a warm and welcoming environment where clients feel safe to share their thoughts, feelings, and struggles. I strive to foster a strong therapeutic alliance, allowing us to work collaboratively towards your personal goals. As an approachable and empathetic therapist, I am dedicated to tailoring my approach to meet your unique needs and preferences. To provide even more flexibility, I now offer 30-minute Mental Health Check-In sessions for current or returning clients. These shorter sessions are ideal for times when you need quick support, a focused conversation, or help working through a specific issue without committing to a full therapy hour. Sessions are available by phone or video and can be scheduled in a way that fits your day. When I'm not engaged in therapeutic work, I cherish spending quality time with my loved ones, including friends and family. As a proud cat mom, I find joy and relaxation in the company of my feline companion. These personal connections and activities outside of therapy help me maintain a balanced perspective, ensuring I bring my best self to our sessions.
