Introduction

Are you struggling with OCD or anxiety? Do you feel overwhelmed by self criticism, constantly compare yourself to others or feel like an imposter no matter what success you achieve? Well, I'd like to help. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety disorders (i.e. OCD, social anxiety, panic, generalized anxiety/worry and phobias), perfectionism, and imposter syndrome. My approach to therapy is compassionate and accepting, while also being very goal- and change-oriented. My goal is to give you the support and skills you need to reduce anxiety and make lasting change in your life! I received my PhD from Stony Brook University and completed my internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School, McLean Hospital. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to treat anxiety disorders. I know these names are a mouthful, but what's important to know is that they work. These are 'evidence-based treatments' which means that decades of research shows they help reduce anxiety over time. As your therapist, my goal is to tailor these therapies to your unique needs and provide you with new skills to reclaim your life from anxiety!
