MALAIKA WALKER, LPC, LCADC Welcome to Therapy Enlightens Group Practice! Even a “good” life has its challenges. Current issues such as COVID-19, mandates, racial injustice and other societal pressures affect all of us daily. Anxiety and Depression are at an all-time-high. With pressures such as these, I believe self-care and therapy is a must. My specialty is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Through CBT, I help my patients address their sources of stress. I work with their thought process, and narrow down the emotions that affect behavioral patterns. I believe the therapeutic relationship is crucial to the success of my patients and encourage freedom to be themselves, as we work together to address issues and pain points. I enjoy working with individuals and am not currently accepting couples or families. My areas of focus are Depression, Anxiety, Self Esteem, Anger Management, Stress Management, Bipolar, Women’s Issues, Relationships and more. I completed undergrad in Georgian Court University with a BA in Psychology. I completed graduate school at Monmouth University with a MS in Mental Health Counseling. I am a dually licensed clinician having my LPC and LCADC. In addition, I hold two supervisory certifications ACS and CCS. I enjoy spending free time with my grandchildren, husband and other family members. I enjoy activities such as movies, dining out and listening to music. I am currently accepting in-person appointments as well as virtual. JODI BOWER-MACCIOLI, LPC, NCC I believe all people want to have their voices heard, understood and without judgement. Sometimes we just need a supportive ear to listen to our story, other times we need help in sorting out our feelings, and other times we need help formulating a plan of action when we are feeling stuck. In an effective therapeutic relationship, all of these things can happen. Whether you are struggling with depression, anxiety, parenting, relationships, self-esteem issues, or are just feeling stuck and you aren’t quite sure why, my goal is to provide a safe, comfortable place where you can identify and approach your challenges. Together, we can work together to formulate a plan to reach your goals, whatever they may be. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years experience working with clients of all ages. I have an eclectic approach, and use a variety of modalities to best meet the need of each individual, including CBT, mindfulness, solution-focused and somatic approaches. I am currently accepting virtual appointments only. CHARLES WINSTON, CADC, LIFE COACH “Charles, no man is an island…” A quote my Grandma often said to me during my adolescence. A quote I often ignored due to my then eagerness and stubbornness to create and develop an identity for myself without guidance or assistance. Poor decision-making often resulted in some of my major & minor goals not being completed. Nevertheless, in hind-sight, those experiences helped to improve my insight on the importance of fellowship, establishing connections, and networking with others to help increase my goal-setting and decision-making potential. As a Life Coach, I am here to help you to help you explore your own goal-setting and decision-making potential. Currently I am enroute to being a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. My specialties are Stress Management, Emotional Regulation, Goal-setting, Decision-making and Microcosm Motivation. My strengths as a Life Coach are Wellness/Fitness Coaching, Work/Life Balance Coaching, Weight/Body Image Coaching, Relationship Coaching, Recovery Coaching, and Spiritual Coaching. Are you ready to explore, develop, and work an action plan best suited for you and your goals? I am currently accepting in-person appointments as well as virtual.
