Introduction

Hello! Frances, here. I'm a Hispanic, multi-racial, queer, agender person and licensed clinical social worker. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing therapy, and use a number of other trauma informed modalities, including Internal Family Systems, Trauma Focused -Acceptance Commitment therapy, Somatic techniques and Polyvagal theory. I believe everyone has the capacity for growth and change. Sometimes we just need help to spark our own mind and body's natural healing processes. I would be honored to be part of your healing journey. I have over 8 years of experience helping adults and teens in crisis and over 10 years working in the social services field. I am a licensed clinical social worker and licensed addictions counselor. I have experience in hospitals, prisons and local community agencies in IL and CO. As a social worker, I recognize that my field has perpetuated oppression of marginalized groups. I strive to hold myself accountable and challenge the injustices that perpetuate this marginalization and support the empowerment of these communities.
