Hi, I’m Frankie, a proud Black woman and Michigan-based therapist rooted in womanist principles and healing justice. I believe healing is a journey—one that requires safety, trust, and compassion. My goal is to create an authentic, supportive space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to grow. With years of experience supporting teens, young adults, women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ individuals, I specialize in working with trauma—particularly sexual abuse, violence, and racial identity—along with challenges like depression, anxiety, self-esteem, and life transitions. My approach is integrative and holistic, combining evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, and Psychodynamic Therapy with mindfulness and creative techniques tailored to your unique needs. I bring warmth, curiosity, and accountability to the process, always recognizing you as the expert in your own life. Together, we’ll explore your story, uncover patterns, and build tools to help you heal, reconnect with yourself, and live authentically. Outside of my work, I like to think I’m a creative soul, indulge in true crime documentaries, and spend time with those that I love. I believe in fostering connection, tapping into creativity, and honoring the resilience within all of us. Healing isn’t linear, but you don’t have to do it alone.
