Introduction

I work as a psychotherapist (LCSW), I am a mother to two neurodiverse children and two Chihuahuas. I am multicultural, a first generation Cuban American, with German and Lebanese ancestry. I am very proud of my cultural roots but as a multicultural individual I have lost aspects of my heritage and this includes language. As such, I only provide services in English. I currently live in Richmond Virginia, however I have spent much of my adult life living in New York City. Consequently, this has informed my personality a great deal (including but not limited to the fact that I am often direct and curse frequently). I am a practitioner of yoga both on and off the mat. I am committed to lifelong learning and unlearning and am always working on myself. And I genuinely enjoy long walks on the beach, or anywhere outdoors, so yes, basically hiking.
