Introduction

My journey into Social Work, and ultimately becoming a therapist, is deeply rooted in my own life experiences grappling with many of the same obstacles that countless individuals face today. These experiences have propelled me to pose the tough questions and envision a future where everyone can lead fulfilling and meaningful lives. Through this journey, I've come to realize that Social Work isn't just a profession for me; it's woven into the fabric of my being. I have wholeheartedly committed myself to serving diverse communities, continuously evolving professionally, and nurturing my own growth into the person I am today. Through my professional experiences, I have been privileged to hold space for people as they navigate some of the hardest parts of life. My mental health work has included providing services in family therapy settings, working with at-risk/high-risk families and youth in levels 2-4 enhanced mental health services, primary care mental health, and private practice. I have also worked in hospice and child welfare. My experience has given me the opportunity to connect with many different people, gain different tools, and have a deeper understanding of the human experience. At this time, I am taking self-pay and sliding scale. I am in the processing of taking Cigna & Aetna and hope to take these insurances by July 2024.
