Introduction

I completed my undergraduate studies at Bowling Green State University and earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and a minor in human development and family studies. I completed my graduate studies at The University of Akron and earned a master's degree in marriage and family therapy. I have clinical experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I also enjoy working with children and adolescents. My approach to therapy focuses on exploring authentic emotions, hopes, dreams, fears, and anxieties to facilitate the healing process. Ultimately, I aim to promote growth and change in individuals and increase meaningful connection in relationships. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to helping clients reach their goals in conjunction with utilizing evidence-based treatment interventions to address various presenting concerns and help clients adjust to difficult processes of life, manage emotion dysregulation, and navigate relational or familial distress. I value what clients have to say about how I can deliver services in a way that works best for them. For this reason, I practice Feedback Informed Treatment by gathering information about what is and is not working in therapy to not only incorporate the client's perspective into session, but also adjust my approach accordingly to better suit their needs.
