Entering one’s private life through psychotherapy for me is like being a wanted guest in their house – it is a privilege and responsibility. I work with adults with various mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, self-criticism, relationship issues, emotional and attention difficulties. It is a great honor to witness people crafting their strengths and inviting curiosity instead of criticism in life. I believe that collaboratively, we can create a safe space to help you feel your feelings; build awareness; understand relationship patterns; and develop constructive strategies to cope at home, work and in society. I use an integrative approach to connect to people on a human level. While I focus on the presenting problem, I believe that they are various levels of exploration to strengthen one’s well-being. Specifically, I am interested in mindfulness, self-compassion, expressive arts therapy, system theories, hypnosis, cognitive-behavioral modalities (CBT) and ACT. I offer individual psychotherapy using telehealth modalities. I do not take insurance but I am happy to provide you with superbills if you wish to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
