Having worked six years with children and their families in an inpatient setting prepared me for my 1995 start as a Registered Psychology Associate with Childerston & Associates of Hagerstown, Md in outpatient services. I acquired a bachelor's degree in Psychology from University of Maryland Baltimore County, a master's degree in Applied Psychology from Hood College, and a second master's degree from West Virginia University in Community Counseling. Throughout my years of practice, under the supervision of James K. Childerston, Ph.D., ABMP, I have specialized in counseling children, adolescents, and their families. In addition, I enjoy assisting individual adults of all ages. I, also, provide educational presentations to the community, offer consultations to area school counselors/ educators, assist patients and their physicians with medication issues, and offer a wide range of psychological testing. In my personal time, I have enjoyed several years coaching local youth baseball, playing golf, and challenging myself with half and full marathon races.
